Privacy Policy

Offtide · Effective 28 October 2026

Offtide helps you block the apps you find distracting. It is built so that your data stays on your device. This policy explains what that means.

The short version

Offtide collects no data. There is no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Nothing you do in Offtide leaves your device.

What Offtide stores on your device

To work, Offtide saves your schedules (their names, days and times), whether a manual block is on, and the apps, categories and websites you choose to block. These are kept only on your device, shared between the app and its Screen Time extension, and are deleted when you delete the app.

Screen Time

On iPhone and iPad, Offtide uses Apple's Screen Time framework with your permission. You choose apps in Apple's own picker. Offtide only receives opaque tokens from Apple that let it block those apps; it cannot see the names of the apps you pick, and it never reads how much you use your apps.

You can remove Offtide's access at any time in Settings → Screen Time → Apps With Screen Time Access.

Sharing

Offtide shares no data with anyone, because it has none to share.

Children

Offtide is meant for people managing their own device. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
